Brazilians for lunch

Brazilian couple for lunch - so we had beans, rice, chicken (and this roast veg) with caipirinhas. They brought a delightfully sweet dessert containing condensed milk (my favourite!).

Interesting chats about politics and inequality etc. Always surprising how unaware someone from a different class and area of Brazil can be of the current reality (they often know about the past but think it no longer happens...) amongst the poorer population particularly in the north east.

Preached in the evening - got home and collapsed in bed as soon as the kids were asleep!
