The New Steps*

are not so new but then again is neither the nearby new town. However it seemed appropriate for both the 1st of March and start of spring and also to commemorate handing in my ridacard, partly because it was no longer giving me value for money but primarily because it was decentivising walking. 

In touch to get train down to Newcastle for evening event - always a pleasure to be in city centre when sun is shining & sky is blue. 

Off with a spring in my step. 

* update: on reviewing just realised that the new steps are not new at all, rather they are the news steps ..my dyslexic brain in action :-)
