One design, Two prints

I thought it would be interesting to compare one design using two different printmaking approaches. On the right is a simple lino cut of my "Great Crested Newt" with a graded rolling (top to bottom light to dark green). This is  a print I made about two years ago. On the left is the same design made as a drypoint etching last night. This is only my second attempt at drypoint. I quite like the "murky pond water" effect that its possible to create.
