Morecambe Bay

The weather appeared to be better on the Morecambe side of the bay where we were today than across the water in Cumbria. 

It did rain twice, first while we were having a mid morning coffee in Morrisons and not long before we left while I was browsing wallpaper and other DIY items in Homebase.  

It may be the first day of Lent but I allowed myself a jam doughnut with the coffee. I've almost forgotten what cake and biscuits taste like because since the start of January I have't had any in the house. As a result I'm now half a stone lighter.
