Crackley Wood
We went to Crackley Wood this morning, a Warwickshire Wildlife Trust nature reserve near Kenilworth.
It's a wooded area with a manageable circular walk within the woods and a pedestrian/cycle track running alongside (probably originally a single track railway line). We walked the cycle track then the circular walk which was not too muddy.
There were not many flowers within the woods, mainly narcissus though we did see a few birds including a Robin, a Jay and Nuthatch, climbing up a tree.
The picture is of some Scarlet Elf Cup fungus.
