Training In The Rain

Helle and I met after work today for some dog training. When we arranged to meet, it was lovely weather.... When we did in fact meet, it was not so nice! 

Hero did manage to train in dry weather, which I am grateful for as his puppet theatre would not have liked the mud! 

The rest of the dog trained in rain and mud. 

In the end it was so muddy that Helle sort of gave up on a proper training session for Jazz. It was partly due to a finger that hurt too though... She put it (the finger) in the hand-held blender a few days ago!!!!

This is Gollum practising his rally obedience. We have (don't ask why!) entered a rally obedience show next weekend, even though it is not really our thing... Gollum will probably do great - not so sure about myself though. Rally obedience is complicated! Nevertheless we have sent in out entry and we have practised.... We'll see what happens, when we get into the ring!

In Heelwork To Music it is not allowed to enter the ring with the dog on lead. In rally obedience the dog is not allowed to be off lead. We're so used to work without the lead that the lead is on our way, when we try working with it... I felt like putting it down or taking it off all of the time. 

Oh well - as long as we have fun :-D
