Plean Country Park

This afternoon we took James to the above for a walk. However, it was still a bit (quite a lot, really!) muddy underfoot so James stayed in his buggy but poor Rona had to suffer a serious paw washing later. The play area should dry up and be a lot of fun for James, Euan & Eve later in the year.
The big house is now ruinous, having burned in the sixties, I think. The house is now so dangerous that a double safety fence has been erected to protect the adventurous and/or stupid!
Due to the mucky paths, we cut our walk short and headed for the Bannockburn memorial for a stroll there. James really enjoyed a good run on clean tarmac paths. You might like to check out MaggieD's blip for an image of this.
