Splash!
It was a lovely day for a walk with the Flumlet along the path to the Gunpowder Mill.
On the way he took Mr Flum exploring up slopes green with wild garlic, discovering snowdrops, listening to a woodpecker drumming and buzzard mewling above. We went down by the river (North Esk) throwing ever-larger stones to make the biggest splash. And after a wee snack, buggied back along the track.
Something I found unpleasant was the frequency of dog poo bags, at least four scattered around - hung high on a tree, left at the side of the path, one actually in the middle of the path and next to the lay-by. It did not spoil the day but increases the need for vigilance when an inquisitive Flumlet is in our care.
