Baby chicken

St Giles' Summer Fete in central London had lots of animals this year.

As well as shy chicks, calves were in abundance, providing a distraction between the face painting, goats and odd looking pigeons.

My favourite was a miniature Sardinian donkey who shouted out when she was lonely. I spent most of the afternoon feeding her hay and rubbing her ears.
