Orchid buds

I have had this orchid plant for nearly 4 years and it faithfully buds at this time of year and lasts for months. S had draped some of the irridescent angel hair over it for Christmas

It was as a last gasp blip today that I took this shot as I was running out of inspiration before I had to be the designated driver for the other half as he made his way via my car to and from the pub.

Now it may be the fact he has just returned from the pub and consumed some of the Scottish nectar but in "his" opinion this looks like two cockroaches with their legs tucked up - huh!
