A better morning weather wise. More water birds activity on the lake.

Shrove Tuesday always means a visit from a good friend. Much fun and hilarity (and wine), with a smattering of pancakes. Lovely!

The extra is a complete contrast - the brightly coloured Scarlet Elf Cap fungi. They're still around, and this little group are just starting to grow. The smallest is about the size of a thumbnail.
