Bad Hair Day

This siskin is struggling against the wind this morning.  We are pleased to see two of them in the elder tree as we were beginning to think we wouldn't have any visiting this year.

It's Emma Davies homework day on composition so I've been out in the garden trying the same photo from different angles and it does focus the mind as well as the camera.  Being known for getting my 'money's worth' out of a blip, this has been a useful exercise.  Too chilly to stay out long though so I may do my 'End of Part 1' project indoors this afternoon, possibly with the help of my newly purchased red nose...
