Colney Woodland Burial Site

Both W and I had previously briefly considered our options for "disposal" after death.  And of course, arranging dad's funeral has brought it all much to the front of our minds. 

We had already thought that we might opt for a woodland burial.  But we hadn't thought about costs.  So we decided to look into this a little.  Today we felt the need for some exercise, and visited Colney Woodland Burial Site, and had a walk round.  Just a short walk - no more than 1.5km on "map my walk", but quite challenging in places as there were some relatively steep downhill bits.  It is very pretty - apparently even prettier at bluebell time.  But it all felt a bit "commercial" and almost exploitative.  And the noise from the traffic on the Southern Bypass was a constant hum.
