Sock teddies

I was teaching in Year 6 today ahhhhhh how nice it was. They are a challenging bunch in terms of ability and arrogance, but so nice in comparison to my own class. Actually it's only a few in my own class that are extremely hard work.

After school we had sewing club and this is the work of 2 children. The one in the orange coat is made by a boy in the other year year 4 class. He told us he was going to give it to his mum for Mother's Day. Myself and the other 2 members of staff (all of us mums), near,y cried. He is such a lovely boy. Sewing club makes my week.

Then this evening ofvto Cromwell Quilters to hear a talk by moira O'Neill. A very inspiring artist.
