Stop, look and listen

It was very Spring-like this evening, but it's not quite spring yet whatever the low flying queen bees say - the beech outside my window knows when Spring springs and it's buds aren't fattening up yet. 

One of the advantages of living where I do is the square outside my front door. I didn't go straight home today, I stopped in the square, sat on a bench and took in the view. I'd like to say it was quiet time but the birds were not quiet at all.
