An otherwordly view!

We hiked up the Reinebringen, a very muddy, steep and slippery business. One of our hiking books had advised the hike to be for experienced hikers only, the other declared it a "family hike". My, I don't want to see the family of that author!
Well, the view was worth every struggle and as breathtaking as can be.

After one day I am already completely in love with the Lofoten. White sandy beaches and rough mountains, bliss! We watched some guys going for a (very short) swim, the turqouise water looks too much like carribean and not like being within the polar circle.

Now we are sitting content by the side of the sea, the fierce wind howling around us.
