Aspirations

Along with one of my lovely colleagues, I took 24 students to The University of Manchester today.

Such a positive day. Tour of the campus, study skills sessions, advice and guidance, working with PhD graduates. Our students were inquisitive, great company and we got such positive feedback about their level of engagement. Very proud to be able to work with them over the next few weeks to raise their aspirations and provide them with an opportunity to 'up their game'.

Good opportunity to chat with m'colleague about philosophy, values and fundamentally why there is so much to be positive about. Untapped potential is hope, bundled up in the chaotic and complex structure of teenagers!
