Draft proof
We were given a presentation by one of our students the other day about eco things - heating and the like. We need to reduce our carbon footprint. It was well delivered, but basically told us all to turn the radiators off and wear a coat! There could have been a little more flexibility in the proposals. Anyway, one thing struck me and that was the claim that all of our double glazed classroom windows are draft free, draft-proof, there are no drafts. Well, I'm not convinced by this claim as I know the wind howls right into my classroom, particularly at the moment. This morning a storm was blowing in nicely, so much so that my draft proof windows were happily letting the rain flood into my room and onto the sill. Hmmm.
That is all.
