City Park

I had a day of from chores and exercise today and headed into Leeds for a spot of shopping. Other than to go to work, it's the first time I've been in this year, and oh how much more pleasant it is than before Christmas! With only a few things to get I took time out in the new John Lewis café for one of their fabulous cheese scones and a cuppa and a little reading time. A far better way to celebrate world book day.

This evening our WI group had a fascinating tour of City Hall in Bradford with the Mayor and Lady Mayoress, a fascinating evening, and with my new wide angled lens and a spare five minutes before, I had chance to get this shot of City Park too.
