Yesterday was a good day

... my dad would have been very proud, as was my mum. She was so pleased to have so many people saying so many positive things about my dad. I think it left her feeling so much more peaceful at the end of the day. Everything went exactly as it should, my son was great (he led the memorial event) and so was Fred (from the Alpine Garden Society). My dad has been to so many places around the world, done and enjoyed so many different things in his life and it was wonderful to see so many people representing different facets of his life.
