Nga Tapuwae (in their footsteps)

In Wellington, on the waterfront, is a first world war trail which enables New Zealanders to walk in the footsteps of their ancestors who went to battle in UK, France, Belgium and Turkey. 100,000 men went from this small, new country, 18,000 did not return.
This photo is of the logo that marks the trails.
