Squirel in the old grapefruit tree

I can hardly believe that another year is coming to a close. Whoosh....

Did it seem to fly by to you as well?

Seriously, it feels like it was about three months long to me. I guess it has something to do with how long one is here in this dimension of time, but even children comment that it is going by quickly.

Our old grapefruit tree has managed to produce some fruit this year, but after blowing down in two hurricanes and a long dry spell, I am thinking this might be it for the old tree. But, then again, I see some new growth, so she may have some get up and go left in her yet.
