World, shut your mouth

Well, day 2 of Moseley Folk Festival 2012 and the highlight for me at least. I've wanted to see Julian Cope for a long long time. I don't know why because I own very few of his records but I think I just like the fact that he's a true one-off original.
Well he didn't disappoint me with this solo acoustic set (as much as a set that features an analogue synthesizer at the end can be described as 'acoustic'). He was a complete and utter joy for an hour. Thought-provoking music and some genuinely funny, and educational (!) between song banter.
Thank you, Julian, you're the greatest person ever to be called Julian.
