Pineapple

I wanted to make some piña coladas so I bought a pineapple.

I suppose I could have used tinned pineapple bits, too, but they (piña coladas, that is) just taste so much better if you use fresh pineapple.


I must say I'm glad I don't know how long this particular individual had sat on the shelf, a couple of others already had some blueish white fluff on the bottom part...

This one didn't, though, and the taste is very sweet, so I suppose it's just about as perfect as they get here.
