Unidentified Flying Object ?

Approaching the Scarborough Spa with dawn
just breaking, a mysterious object came into
sight in this lonely place. Close inspection
revealed no obvious source of its illumination.
Better left undisturbed to return whence it had
come was my briefly considered opinion.
I walked on and fortunately was not alarmed
by footsteps following !
