Cottages at Lorton

After a decent morning, it's raining again this evening, so I expect to see even more snow on the hills by tomorrow. I can see this ridge from home and it often beckons me skywards.  These cottages in Lorton have a stupendous view of Hopegill Head (left) and Whiteside (right), and a network of footpaths right on their doorstep. Not that I'm envious!
