Wildlife

Passing through the outskirts of Dundee saw these deer and, realising it was a statue stopped to take this photo.

Due to bad weather forecast in the west coast and problems with the transport of the couple of people wanting to go on the walk at Dalmally, Dave cancelled. Instead the two of us went to Glen Esk to do the Corbett Mount Battock, the group had done it when I was unable to go.

It was a dull day with mist on the summit, but quite warm. Near beginning of walk we saw lots of juvenile pheasants. They moved off very quickly and hid in the undergrowth as soon as they saw us.

Finished with a coffee and scone in Edzell.
