I already love it...

We came to Centerparcs in Cumbria today for a week's holiday. It took a mammoth amount of preparation and packing but we are here! The swimming pool is amazing, there are lots of great play areas and our lodge is really quite spacious if not fantastically modern (but it is the basic one). Looking forward to an amazing week. First impressions were like David Marshall lodge with a Starbucks but soon went right up in my estimation. Bumped into someone I went to school with which was random. Also went on a ceilidh band tour to Finland with him (and the rest of the band) in 1996 so brought back some odd memories of saunas but they are kind of fuzzy, perhaps the Finnish vodka or schnapps or whatever they have....
