A Winning Start

The Perry Street League season started again today, and we got off to a great start beating Chard Rangers 4-0. Everything we've been working on since I took over at the helm is starting to come together. I still think it's going to take a while for things to gel properly but we now all seem to know what we're trying to achieve.

Paul opened the scoring for us in the first half, followed in the second half by strikes from Gav, Ryan (the pick of the bunch, a 25 yarder swerving away from the keeper and going in off the post into the bottom corner) and Jake, scoring on his competitive debut for us.

Pictured is Lee going up for a header, in our completely miss match kit! Totally forgot they played in blue as well, so we changed into those hideous yellow shirts!

Everyone was absolutely superb, it's impossible to pick out one individual. Play as a team, win as a team, lose as a team.
