Fennel

We've had a lovely day today with lovely visitors from Leeds.
Mrs G is an old friend from my travel agent days - we lived together in a hotel for a month during our training. Happy days!!
We went to the park and then our lovely husbands took the children home while Mrs G and I stayed at the pub enjoying the sunshine and the peace and quiet.
There wasn't so much peace and quiet when we got home at nearly 6 0'clock and there was no sign of any dinner for the kiddiwinks and they were all going mental. A 6 year old, a four year old and a couple of two year olds screaming and whining - it was tempting to run back to the pub!!
Then we had lots of fun and games blowing up airbeds and moving mattresses around - it was all very exciting for children and there was much bouncing and shrieking. But they were all very good and now are sleeping peacefully while their tired Mummies and Daddies are drinking wine and eating lasagne and cheesecake.
