A colourful day

A family day out today - just ticking off some to-do's uptown but we had good fun being out and about, the sun even decided to make an appearance!

As we made our way home we stumbled upon the Police Force Family Day at Fettes. The training ground was filled with police cars, motorbikes, ambulances, fire engines, helicopters, horses, police dogs, police vans and a whole host of activities and stalls in between. A seventh heaven for Little D and his fascination with 'nee naws'. He and Miss A got to 'drive' a police car and motorbike, sat in the cells of the G4S security van which transports criminals to court, jumped on bouncy castles and ate ice cream. What more could you want from a day out?!
