Blencathra

I wanted to look for a few things in Keswick so decided on a short detour to check out some parking spots for a walk I’d like to do. While in the area I thought I’d investigate the mining museum. Open Easter to October the sign said, but I carried on driving up the bumpy zigzag road. Pulled into their car park, climbed the few steps to the viewpoint and realised I was being watched. Took two quick shots looking to Blencathra, then back into the car and quickly off the premises. 


Definitely photo potential there, especially if the light is right, so will have to return during opening hours.
