Cheering for Sweden

Today was the women's relay! In the cross-country skiing World Championships from Lahti, Finland. If I told you, seriously, how much time we spend watching skiing you would NOT believe me.

Anyway. It was very exciting! The first two five-kilometre legs ended us up being seventeen seconds behind Norway and Finland. We almost lost heart, thinking we were done for. It was warm there, and the snow was slushy and heavy. We had a junior, Ebba, on our third leg. And guess what she did? She caught up with and passed the Finnish competitor, giving Stina, our sprint star, an excellent possibility to win a finish sprint. Which she did! Yay!! Silver Sweden!

Norway won. They always do. Sigh. This is me, Wolf and Dolly hoping for a miracle.
