Afternoon light

We were promised lots of rain today but we have been lucky and only had showers. I rang the dental surgery this morning and left a message about my broken tooth and didn't expect to hear anything until Monday morning. One of the receptionists rang me later on and offered me an appointment on Monday morning. I did explain we were going away in the afternoon (yes, again) and she thought it best that I was seen.
I got my sewing machine out to do a couple of adjustments to a couple of tops I am taking with me. It's a long time since I have used my machine but it's like riding a bike, you don't forget. The sun was shining on the sea this afternoon when I went out for a quick circular.
