Taking your opportunities
Blipping is all about taking opportunities when they arise. The no. 11 bus is diverted at the moment, with the closure of the end of Pilrig Street, which means it goes along Broughton Road, affording a view of Rosebank Cemetery from the top deck. Now I quite often go along Broughton Road on a bus, but the no. 36 is a single decker. So no views. This afternoon, I travelled across town to Brunstfield to spend the afternoon with C and A and their kids. Blip? Bingo, here you go. Excellent on a really foggy day, when it's mainly been raining.
Nothing else much to be said about the day, although the original disappearing plumber from Tuesday has surfaced, and now wants to come round tomorrow. That's a bit irritating as we were still planning a walk, as it looks like it will be better tomorrow. So that's not going to happen now. Anyway, needs must. As Mr A just pointed out, plumbers are very much like London buses....
A quiet evening of iplayer beckons.
