Building a Nest.

This is the lake I take Isabella to, to feed the ducks.  Well, it's more of a pond really.  At the moment the water level is very low due to the lack of rain.

On my morning walk today, there were lots of birds and activity.  There was a mother moorhen building a nest.  Another family of baby moorhens on the bank.

There were also, coots, swamphens, mallard ducks and even a darter.

Went out for a little while with Alexandra and Isabella, then back to my house for lunch.

My husband said to me later that Isabella is getting prettier every day, but then we are biased.
