Ben Vrackie

New contract confirmed so I celebrated with a trip to Pitlochry and  walk up Ben Vrackie.  For the sake of variation I took the Killiecrankie bealach  path and then, on reaching the NW end of Loch a'Choire, went "off piste" and made my way directly up the south side of the hill. Steep, rocky and icy in places, it was a bit dicey!  Thoroughly enjoyable! 

Back to Pitlochry without incident and visted the new Pitlochry Dam visitor centre [PDVC] which was great.  I'm a hydro power geek so this was a treat!
