Feathery Frost Fronds

Al texts me in the mornings if he is sitting in his "igloo" (i.e. his iced-up car). This is good as I am always still in bed when he's going to work so if he texts me I know that I'm going to have to get up a little earlier to factor defrosting time into my morning schedule.

He texted me this morning but it was the first time in ages that I have seen this sort of feathery pattern in the frost/ice. I had to change the filter to "noir" to make them show up better.
