Joy and sadness

My Mom had a rocky start to the day as her pain pump became disconnected but once it was fixed she was having a good day. Had a nice day with visits from friends and relatives. She was very happy to see Becca and Brianna today. Kim stayed with her while I went home to make some supper and spend a bit of time with Becca. I came back at six thirty and Kim was in the hallway crying. She said Mom didn't know who she was. After Kim left I had to sit and tell her who I was and who her grandkids were. She asked me if she was a good Mother. I told her she was the best as my heart was breaking into a million pieces.
