There once was ....

.... an ugly duckling (or two)

It has been fun watching these cygnets whose home is the Cuilc in Pitlochry gradually transform into swans - they are  now more white than browny/grey. What I am most intrigued about is when, why and how their beaks turn orange.

Cuilc is the Gaelic for reeds and in today's other news "tha e tioram" as opposed to yesterday when it was "tha e fluich".
