Runswick Bay

The forecast in the east was for sunshine this morning. With this in mind we planned a walk on the coast.

We decided on a trip to Runswick Bay and were not disappointed in our choice. We realised although we had parked here for a circular walk to Staithes we had not visited the bay itself.

Had a delightful walk along the beach with a retreating tide before exploring the alley ways of the village. A good way to spend the morning as it is now overcast and raining.

The extra shows just a bit of the seaweed which littered the beach after the recent storms.
