Mrs Blackbird
I spotted her hiding in the undergrowth scuttling about throwing leaves up into the air; her mate wasn't far away but he was braver and stayed out in the open more. I blipped them both but I think at least today that this female is the prettier of the two with the gradients of colour in her feathers rather than the dense black of her mate - although he had a beautiful yellow ring around his eyes.
It's been another nice relaxing Sunday with family although Jo and Ric are missing this week as they've gone off skiing to celebrate Jo's birthday.
