Stockport Canal

Nowadays filled in, the old Stockport Canal passed over the railway line near Gorton station, through a metal bridge which you can see to the left of the metal rail. The canal is now a cycle path, off the Fallowfield Loop, to the Ashton Canal from Stockport to Manchester avoiding road traffic. It looks a bit edgy but so does most of the rest of Manchester. 

The photo was taken about 4 pm with three bracketed exposures and post-processed with Silver Efex Pro from the Google Nik Collection.
