Mono Monday - Winter Trees, Garleton Hills
My son and I set out today to photographs winter trees whilst their structure is clear and unaffected by spring growth. We climbed to the top of Garleton Hills where there are a number of windblown trees with fantastic shapes. It wasn't particularly inspiring weather - a bit grey and sombre but as I knew I was going to be processing them as monochrome images using Silver Efex I was not too worried as I knew the software would maximise the subtleties of sky texture.
