Finally caught up with my blips. All of my back blips start here.

The same thing happened to this cactus last year. I don't know why. It's the same Flowering Torch cactus that gave us these beautiful flowers late in the Spring. It showed such resilience after that big bloom by bouncing back and reaching towards the sun.

Maybe it can't handle the monsoon rains. I'll replant it in a different spot this year. You'd think growing cactus would be a no-brainer but since I was born with a purple thumb, growing anything is a challenge.
