Tarmachan take 2

Backblip

The last time we tackled Tarmachan ridge was...interesting to say the least. A lot of snow, a blizzard, I got stuck up to my waist in snow and had to be dug out, got borderline hypothermic and pretty much wanted to roll over and die. Polar opposite (excuse the pun) from today's walk which, given its October, was gloriously sunny, bordering on warm, with stunning views and my first cloud inversion. A very rewarding day! I never get onto the hills as much as I would like, and when I get there I remember it's one of the places I most like to be (on a good day - not when you're soaked to the skin, can't see your hand in front of your face and borderline hypothermic).
