Rain poncho

Seen next to the till in Waterstones, rather strangely, as it's not the first place I would have thought to go and buy a rain poncho assuming I'd ever want one that is. I wonder at how effective it would be, my guess is it would just fly up in your face as soon as you start riding!

A colleague at work has a pair of Rainlegs, which look equally bizarre but do seem to work if you're caught out in a shower without waterproof trousers plus they too don't take up much space in your pannier.

I thought I'd have a go at Mono Monday as B+W used to be my thing all the time so this will be a nice little introduction to it again. I've also discover the amazing Google Nik Collection of plug-ins is now free! When I looked previously it was quite expensive so this time I didn't waste any time installing them all.
