When I was young there used to be a crane here with barges loaded with coal that were unloaded here onto a conveyor that fed the steam engines that pumped the water into London

This monstrosity has just been built, I have no idea of its purpose but I assume that it is extracting water for London

Some the barges and the crane are preferable!
