Timber ....

My friend Sharon and I were shocked to find this tree that had been chopped down in the Plaza today. The notice, to inform residents (and justify what they were doing) said that the tree trunk was 2/3 hollow!!! And it was unsafe as people were walking under it. Can't see any hollow there. Just such a shame. Look at all that wood that we could use at the campfire or the chopped trunks that could be used as garden stools or stands or something .... aargh ... what a waste!

Enjoyed the many hours spent with dear Sharon in the Plaza with our husbands joining at different stages.
