Cottascarth
A walk from Norseman village up to RSPB Cottascarth. You can see the hide just above and to the right of the furthest away sheep. Quiet up there still- two hen harriers, one kestrel, a pair of ravens nesting. I'll go back in a few weeks - it's a good spot for cuckoo. In the village a mistle thrush sang from a tree-top and a redwing seemed transfixed by the song.
